Seventh Generation Set to Tackle Big Green Lies

seventh-generations-big-green-lies

Ever worry that you’re being lied to when it comes to green? If so, you’ll be interested in Seventh Generation’s Big Green Lies, airing tomorrow at 2 pm ET/PT on the Fine Living Network.

Big Green Lies is the latest venture from a brand that’s known for working tirelessly to make not only their own products greener, but also the industry on a whole, and will tackle some the major green myths out there, establishing what’s fact and what’s fiction. A range of experts and interviewees are involved in answering questions and separating the truth from the lies when it comes to green products. You’ll even get to see the man behind all those natural cleaners and recycled products, Seventh Generation CEO Jeffrey Hollender, as he steps into the host position.

While it’s definitely worth tuning in to answer some of the questions that may have been bugging you about the green lifestyle (we’re also pretty big advocates of almost anything Seventh Generation does), Big Green Lies is a great opportunity to sit down with friends and family you might have who are constantly doubting the effects your eco-friendly lifestyle has on the planet. Think of it as pulling in the big guns to prove why it’s worth it to invest extra in buying organic or the environmental necessity of finding alternatives to conventional diapers. Plus, watching an entertaining TV special on a Saturday afternoon is one of the easiest things we’ll ever recommend doing.

If you can’t tune in, or can’t wait until tomorrow to know the facts, you can get a taste of the information on the Big Green Lies page of the Seventh Generation site (especially interesting is the list of foods that should receive higher priority if you can only buy a few items organic).
