Now that the excitement of the holiday season has passed, it’s easy to find the remaining winter months just a little depressing and dreary. It’s also easy to start daydreaming about vacations to places where the sun is still beating down (preferably on sandy beaches and turquoise seas). Many of us, however, are limiting our vacation-related travel these days for both economic and environmental reasons and either trying a “staycation” or foregoing time off altogether.
