Burt’s Bees has been getting a lot of attention for their latest ads, which point out some of the differences between truly natural body products and other options, and it seems that at least one person agrees strongly with their thoughts on the matter: Julianne Moore. She’s partnered with Burt’s Bees to promote the Natural Products Association’s (who Burt’s Bees supports) Natural Seal; a seal that will indicate to shoppers that the product they’re considering is at least 95% natural.

Since many brands that claim to be natural do little to prove it, Moore and Burt’s Bees are hosting Burt’s Bees’ Voting Day in New York City. And what exactly is Moore voting for? Not Obama or McCain (at least not yet), but for natural; making a statement that she will choose natural products over other alternatives and that lawmakers need to take note of the false advertising blatant in the cosmetics industry.
