Formaldehyde
Formaldehyde has a number of negative health effects, including immune-system toxicity, respiratory irritation and cancer in humans. Yet it still turns up in baby bath soap, nail polish, eyelash adhesive and hair dyes as a contaminant or break-down product of diazolidinyl urea, imidazolidinyl urea and quaternium compounds.

Fossil fuel
Solid, liquid or gaseous fuels formed from the fossilized remains of dead plants and animals by exposure to heat and pressure in the Earth's crust over hundreds of millions of years are called fossil fuels. Oil, natural gas and coal are all fossil fuels. They are non-renewable energy sources that consist primarily of hydrocarbons.

The FSC’s standards represent the world’s strongest system for guiding forest management toward sustainable outcomes. FSC Certification ensures that the harvest of timber and non-timber products maintains the forest's biodiversity, productivity and ecological processes.

Fuel cells
A fuel cell is an electrochemical device that generates electricity quietly and efficiently. Electricity is produced through an electrochemical process, rather than through combustion, and therefore creates no pollution. The device transforms hydrogen and oxygen into water, which then produces electricity. As opposed to a battery, a fuel cell never “dies” and never needs to be recharged, because as long as chemicals flow into the cell, electricity will flow out of it. Hydrogen fuel cells are the most common types of fuel cells. Fuel cells have been proposed for powering cars (Toyota), as well as computers and phones.
