Liberty Helix Alpine Ski One Color 176cm. We gave Liberty a season to lock it down, and now were proud to welcome the one-ski-quiver Helix into our lineup. This ski gets killer reviews from every angle, and with good reasonits great everywhere you take it, slashing down tight trees and straightlining tight chutes with equal ease, or even spinning 5s on a quick lap through the terrain park. At 105 underfoot, the Helix is no waspy corduroy-cutter, and its not a park/pipe ski, but the laminated bamboo core and angled traditional sidewalls keep it surprisingly light and poppy considering its ample figure. From choppy crud to groomers, and especially in powder, the Helix has that special something you dont see every season. Think sumo wrestler in space, killer whale on fen-phen, or helium-filled battleship, and youll get a decent idea of how this ski performs. If you still arent impressed, get this: the bamboo and poplar core is eco-friendly, and the company offsets all its energy use with wind power. Lets just say we like em a lot.
