Sigg was founded in 1908 in Switzerland by Ferdinand Sigg. Sigg bottles are designed and manufactured in Switzerland from aluminium or stainless steel. Sigg water bottles are made by an extruding press which forms an aluminum puck into a cylinder in a single movement after which it is pressed into one of several possible bottle sizes. Sigg's eco-friendly aluminum bottles are not only sturdy, lightweight, and fashionably designed but most importantly, they do not leach toxins into your drink like non-green alternatives like plastic water bottles.Sigg produces a variety of products, but has become most famous for its aluminium water bottle, ofter referred to as the "Original Swiss Bottle".
