It brews a warm red-brown color in the cup and is full-bodied with a slightly sweet and spicy aftertaste. Honeybush is a cousin of the rooibos plant which is used to make "red tea." The honeybush shrub is a unique plant with 23 species growing in the wild, of which only two are harvested --- Cyclopia intermedia & Cyclopiasubternata.
