Wind power
Wind power is the conversion of wind energy into a useful form, such as electricity, using wind turbines. Large scale wind farms are connected to electrical grids. Individual turbines can provide electricity to isolated locations. Wind power is used by windmills to produce the mechanical energy that pumps water or grinds grain. Wind power is plentiful, renewable, widely distributed, and clean.
